
At the Kemmerer Senior Citizens Center, we understand that getting out isn’t always easy—but that doesn’t mean you should miss out on a healthy, home-style meal. Our Delivered Meals program brings fresh, nutritious food right to your door. Designed for seniors who are homebound or have limited mobility, this service ensures you’re supported with care, convenience, and consistency. Each delivery brings not just a meal, but a reminder that you’re valued and never alone.
Times: Starts at 10:30am for qualifying individuals
Cost: 60+ suggested $5 donation and under 60 $9
C1 Temporary Home Delivery- Persons 60 years of age or older and their self-declared spouses of any age if it is in the best interest of the participant.
C2 Home Delivery- A spouse of an eligible participant can be eligible to receive a meal if it is in the best interest of the participant.
C1 Temporary and Hot Home Delivery participants must be present for the delivery. The meal cannot be left unattended and if you are not home to receive it the meal will be returned to the center. Participants can call between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. daily to make changes to their meal delivery schedule.

Our Public Transportation service makes getting around safe, simple, and reliable. Whether you’re headed to a medical appointment, the grocery store, or the center itself, we’ll help you get there with ease. Friendly drivers and flexible scheduling mean you can ride with confidence—and never miss a moment.

Locations: Serving the Kemmerer and Diamondville areas
Cost: Suggested $1 donation for seniors and $2 for non-seniors one way
Mobility Assistance: Available as needed
Kemmerer Senior Center transportation participants must be able to navigate from their wheelchair into the van with minimal assistance if they choose not to ride the wheelchair lift. Our staff is trained for public transport and the driver is unable to assist with mobility impairments during transfers. Participants are encouraged to travel with a personal assistant who is capable of assisting transfers if assistance is needed. The personal assistant will not be charged a transportation fee as per WYDOT.

If you are interested in joining the OATS team as a trainer please reach out to the KSC. The next trainer course begins January 13th. The course takes 5 weeks to complete and requires about 6 hours per week to complete. The more trainers we have the more programs we can offer and now that we have been through training we can offer you support throughout the process.
Sandy Goodman provided a lot of critical information when she visited the center. Open enrollment for changes in healthcare or prescription drug coverage starts on October 15th and ends on December 7th.
